Good afternoon! Today I have started to compose some poetry and quotes to work with Anne’s wonderful images. As in past years, I find working on poetry, a very deep and thought provoking process. This is the first time in many years I have tried to construct poetry. Ted Hughes, the great poet, once said, words/poetry, can have the impact-like an explosion of an atom bomb! I have always agreed! I have always found poetry the strongest and most expressive form of writing. I can never and will never claim my work will have an impact such as other poets-but…I know my work comes from the heart and causes me to go deeper within myself. It also brings me joy to write it and a sense of achievement when complete.
